When I joined this project, it had been stuck in design limbo for nearly a year. Multiple iterations had gone nowhere — the team couldn’t align on a direction, the main stakeholder wasn’t happy with the concepts, and the process was draining time, money, and momentum.

I came in with a fresh perspective and a clear goal: stop overhauling for the sake of it, focus on fixing what was broken, and get a usable product into the hands of our users so we could collect real data.

My Approach

1. Audit & Alignment:

   • Walked the team through the current platform screen-by-screen to identify what worked, what didn’t, and what could be improved quickly.

   • Facilitated alignment between sales, product leads, and developers around a pragmatic “improve, don’t reinvent” strategy.

   
   

2. Hybrid Redesign:

   • Used existing components where possible for speed and technical feasibility.

   • Updated visual styling for consistency, even on elements outside our design system.

   
   

3. Rapid Prototyping:

   • Created clickable prototypes throughout the process so stakeholders could experience the flow rather than imagine it.

   • This approach dramatically improved feedback quality and sped up decision-making.
